Angling
Founded in 1958 as “ACUA ANGLERS”, the club provides angling opportunities for all University
personnel on quiet and picturesque waters.
Where we fish: Bourn Brook and The River Cam at Cantelupe Farm, Grantchester.
What we catch: Bream, Chub, Dace, Gudgeon, Hybrids, Perch, Pike, Roach and Trout.
Who can join? The Angling Club welcomes all University personnel - Assistant staff, College staff, Academic staff, Students and Alumni. Anyone granted University Social Club (USC) membership via the University card, Cam Card, or the free Associate Membership for retired University personnel.
If you don’t work for the University and don’t have USC membership, you will need to join the USC as an Associated Member to join the Angling Club. Associate Membership costs £4, and is issued with the angling ticket. USC Associate Membership via the Angling Club expires 15th June 2014.
How to join?
In person from the bar at the USC.
By mail (UMS or external mail) to the USC. If using external mail, please include a sae.
In person from committee members and bailiffs.
Tickets will be available from 3rd June 2013
2013/2014 Subscriptions:
£20 Adult
£15 Adult concession
£7.50 Junior
£4 USC membership (where applicable)
Please make cheques payable to "USSC ANGLERS"
Tickets expire 15th March 2014
